This game makes me want to give up rpg games.

Okay....here are the few positive points:

+++++ I really like how you can move your people on automap. Saves
a lot of tedious walking. I wish you can do it in the dungeons
as well instead of having to learn the teleport spell.
   + Nice grafix over all.

Now for the bad stuff:
----- I really really hate how they split your party up twice at different
points of the game for an extended period of
time. I mean, if they want me to play 4 characters instead of 6
for half of the game then just give me 4 and make it so that I
	 don't have to split up.
----- The chest one really pisses me off. How the hell am I suppose
to figure out that I have to go into smooth scroll mode and then
click on it few hundred times for it to open?
-- Some of the riddles are really off the wall and have too many
possible answers. i.e. Fire Elementals....I don't want to type
in every word in the manual or even on 1 page just to get the
	 riddle.
-- Too many spells and too little uses for most of them. Or too few
opportunities to get them high enough to use them. Even with 2
magicians, 1 witch and an elf, I still only can possibly use 1/2
of the spells through out the game. Might as well only have 1/2
as many spells that are used a lot.
-- Mostly true for the skills too.
   - The plot is pretty thin. A lot of time you don't know what the
heck you are suppose to do. There is not clear direction. Although
it may be more realistic, its damn frustrating(sometimes realism
doesn't always make a fun game).
   - The Ultima Underworld "virtual reality" engine portion serves no
purpose.(except to piss you off like above)

Well...there are probably more but the game basically doesn't come together
very well. They could have done a much better job.

Ouch. Guess you don't like it much, huh? I like it, but I like Blade of
Destiny and Crusaders of the Dark Savant (Wiz7) better. In general, I like
Wizardrys better than most other RPGs.

I suspect the reason they don't allow "move to's" in dungeons is so you can't
avoid and death traps or fights that way. When you do it in the automap
above ground, in general there isn't anything you'll "miss". But, in a
dungeon, that's a different story.

There are a few buggy aspects to the game, but it's not terrible. Some parts
of the game are annoying too. The plot isn't as interesting nor as organized
as some other games, but I like the attention to detail.
