I am stuck at the lower SW door that ( I gather ) leads to the fountain, on the second level of the temple of Dumathoin. I heard you need a gem to pass that door, and that you need the pick axe to retrieve it from a wall somewhere. Where is it ???? I can't seem to find it. For clarity, the door is at the end of a long corridor with columns running down the left side... Also, is that exactly how I open the door, with the gem and chalice??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you enter this room one of your characters tell you that you should take the diamond of one of the "paintings" that are in the east wall. You should use the pick axe in the diamond and it will fall to the floor (I believe that it falls down at the other side of the wall). To pass the door you need the chalice and the amulet of Dumathoin and when you get the diamond, the fountain will talk to you.
