Find Gavron (the dude that stole the Stone from you) once more and follow
him.

  No problem! Follow Gavron (close behind) and he will lead you 
  to the right stone.

I went into town and asked around about Gavron.  He is found in the
'Orcs Breath(?)' saloon on the West side of town.  You can then follow
him to A. Sevientres(sp)'s house and fight for the stone there.  One more
thing, demand the stone and tell him he is going to meet Boron, then
chase him into the house.  Otherwise you will fight 15 people that will
more or less slaughter you.  :).  Hope this helps.
