That's right, folks, the sci-fi RPG, Consortium, is available for free on Steam this weekend. Grab it while you can, ladies and gentlemen (particularly if quirky space sagas tickle your fancy). ^_^ Signed, Warewolf who can think of worse ways to while away the weekend (like the racing game, Toybox Turbos) 9_9

That is a fucking achievement. There is no limits for modern developers. Sometimes I wonder if they made Digger (1983, 8086, 60Kbytes and digitized sound) now what system requirements would be. -- Andrew Rybenkov

It struck me as a stylistic choice with the bright colors and simple textures... Not like the flood of recent 2 dollar FPS's that all look like the original Counter Strike.

So are the various freemium titles and, yet, people still play them, for some reason. 9_9 (Probably because they haven't been shown anything better...yet) -_- > There is no limits for modern developers. And, yet, many AAA studios still use the same old cookie cutters. -_-U If they were smart, they'd make something original/creative and trade in the DLC/micropayment model toward rewards for their paying customers. Then again, if the animation studios were smart and wanted to promote their classic and modern shorts/series, I can think of a few feature-rich titles they could lend their licences to. ^_^ > Sometimes I wonder if they made Digger (1983, 8086, 60Kbytes and > digitized sound) now what system requirements would be. I'm not sure about the PC version but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmMvAbIHOCk And, while we're at it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkZ5Jbmaj98 Signed, Warewolf who has seen many games stand the test of time...and (the players) win.

Consortium ist out early 2014.
FPS adventure RPG ...essentially a story thing.
The release time reviews hammered it for being very buggy.
Has this been improved in patches ?

Grabbed it while the grabing is good :-) Thanks for the heads-p. -P.
