Think say Mordor ...Elder Scrolls ...Witcher ...Dark Souls

Some say ;
".....could call Lords of the Fallen a (Dark) Souls game for the meek and
the uninitiated..."
(so could be just right for me :)
"... the story, concept, and characters were "commendable",
liked the slow weapons-based combat...that's where the game "shines the
brightest"
At release it was heavily criticized for Bugs
buts there has been big patches so should now be OK .

A friend who's played both really has nothing kind to say about LOTF:
'A bad game that looks pretty'. In any case, I'm getting much enjoyment
out of DS1, though it's taking me a long time to learn the mechanics of
gameplay, as much of that is trial-and-error, as I'm generally avoiding
looking things up, only resorting to that when I'm stuck.

I need to get back to Kingdoms of Amalur one day.
If you're into 3rd person fantasy hack n slash type games you look at
the Castlevania Lords of Shadow titles.

Castlevania games -thanks Rin . I have just looked & they are certainly
interesting.
Looks as though "Lords of Shadow " 1st one is the best on the PC.
I likely won't buy as with Mordor , Dying Light, & I have recently started
Assassins Creed Brotherhood
my current play-times there is only so much jump & Bash & Slash - bounce
around, I can stand.
