Hmm.... my first reaction after reading something that described it as
an "co-op D&D action-RPG" was to wonder if it's going to be like the old
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance console games. Though looking into it more
it seems they're going for a Infinity Engine Baldur's Gate type of game.

The Dark Alliance games weren't too bad for what they were; I rather
enjoyed them. Despite their names, they were no "Baldurs Gate" but for
a quick single-player action-RPG I actually found them preferable to
the Diablo series.

Unfortunately, I'm getting more of a "D&D Daggerdale" vibe from Sword
Coast Legends, and Daggerdale was just an awful, awful game. I'd love
if Sword Coast lived up to its promise, but this is definitely a title
that I am in no rush to purchase.

Yah, being like Dark Alliance games wouldn't be bad. They were pretty
popular back in the day. I'm kinda suprised they haven't had some sort
of reboot already.

Daggerdale flew pretty much under the radar for me, and I hadn't even
heard of Sword Coast Legends until DMP posted about it. Hmm... it's
been a while since we've had a good D&D game, hasn't it?

It has been awhile for D&D, I agree. It actually looks like fun to me.
