Yes, I know this game is old but maybe someone here can help me. The
only walkthru I can find for the PC version is not helping.

 I have the following five artifacts needed to get the staff -->
 
1. KOD's Armor
2. KOD's Gauntlets
3. KOD's Helm
4. KOD's Shield
5. Hrathnir

I went to the sixth level and entered the sphinx room. I gave the
answer THE KNIGHT OF DIAMONDS. I walked one or two rooms north and I
was then teleported back to the first level next to the center square.
I entered Gnilda's square. But she does not give me the staff I need
to finish the game.

What am I doing wrong?
