It's sort of a cross between Diablo and Ultima VII. The second game Beyond Divinity is supposed to be awful, and I've heard that Divinity 2 is decent game, but I haven't played either. The role playing & character development was outstanding, IMHO. I played it thru a couple of times and I don't do that to many games. D.

(use Steel Scorpio trap for difficult/tedious battles); Beyond Divinity - boring, just fight after fight (I did not finish it). Divinity 2 Ego Draconis - very good, though short. Initially it presented original, surprising ending. Hollywood-generation whined about it everywhere, so Larian stupidly changed it with add-on to traditional crap. Ego Draconis + the addon = The Dragon Saga. -- Andrew Rybenkov
