Hi has anyone of you already tried the steam remote streaming, for me this is a huge game changer. For instance I am playing Brothers a Tale of Two Sons in my living room on a macbook pro, while the hosting pc is downstairs in my working room and as long as I have enough bandwidth in the wifi network, it works really flawlessly. No need for a console anymore, this stuff is better. (If it works with the game)

It's not a solution for me. If I had a Windows PC, I could play games on it directly. I don't have one because I don't want to support a dedicated Windows machine. (Tried that in 2003. It was a waste of time and money.) Hoping that SteamOS (Linux) takes off enough that I never have to. --Z -- "And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these were the borogoves..." *

The only problem: you can't have separate game settings (like screen resolution). It's inconvenient. Otherways good idea. -- Andrew Rybenkov

I've got an old laptop I can't even play simple games like Terraria on, but plays video fine. Unfortunately I've been playing Diablo III Reaper of Souls, which isn't on steam. - Justisaur

Generally, all newer games seem to work many older games do not work. I guess this is highly dependend on the DirectX version the game uses. Werner

Even the Playstation key worked, it was mapped into "start big picture mode". If you use the inofficial PS4 - PC drivers on a pc then it is even better, because then you even can use the integrated touchpad as mouse and the controller is emulated into a xinput/xbox 360 controller. I have yet to try this combination, so far I am happy it works that flawlessly on a Mac. Werner
