Anyone playing it? I am currently playing it and like it, although it is
a little bit to japanese rpg like for my taste, but the rest of the game
makes up for it.

Not yet but I'll definitely get it as soon as I have a chunk of time to
play. As a part-time illustrator and graphic designer the graphics alone
are probably worth the $15 asking price as far as I'm concerned.

It seems to be a curious mixture of 2D platforming, adventure and JRPG
elements very reminiscent of Valkyrie Profile for the PS1 (an awesome
but ridiculously difficult game by the way).

Yes the artwork is amazing, if you are into JRPGs then it is a
definitive must buy, if not like I am the artwork and explorative puzzle
sidescrolling makes up for the JRPG mechanics. The game itself starts as
a puzzle platformer but really soon after the beginning becomes a
mixture of an (easy) puzzle sidescroller and JRPG with really amazing
artwork and sound.
The game itself is not really difficult, and according to some reviews
about 8-10 hours long.
The game itself is not to hard so far (I am in chapter 4 with about 3
hours into the game)

Ok I just finished it, it was really about 8-10 hours, but it was really
fun, and worth the price.
