A friend recommended Rogue Legacy to me, and I finally got around to buying it ($15 on Steam). It's an addictive game, I could barely force myself to stop playing and go to bed the last couple days, by far the most addictive thing I've played in quite some time. I'm not entirely sure it would count as an RPG, but you do buy up abilities, and weapons, armor, available classes etc. It's probably more appropriately called a 'platformer' and you need some reasonably decent twitch skills I think.

I strongly recommend it.

I picked up Rogue Legacy yesterday. It's on sale at Steam until a
little later today. (66% off)

I've been waiting for it to go on sale, because the videos are impressive.

It really was a great game, I think I got to about +5 before I gave up, having unlocked everything.

The steam sales were really nice, I bought 20 games for $50 total, mostly indy games I'd had on my wish list for some time, and a few really cheap deals on stuff that looked interesting.

I played through "Retro City Rampage", which was fairly good for a clone/parody of GTA I with a bunch of 80's references in it. It played a heck of a lot better than GTA I at least. I don't have the patience to go around collecting every last little bit anymore, so I finished it over the weekend.

I just started "They Bleed Pixels" last night which I found highly addicting, but on the extreme side of difficult, I probably won't go back to it.
