Hi. Maybe I'm a bit wrong with the "installation" word, but I can't get Xeen to run. I bought the CDROM version of World of Xeen (well, that's basically Dark Side and Cloud, right ?). Type INSTALL --> recognizes my PAS-16 (good). Just do a minimal install (no intros installed) to drive E. under directory e:\xeen Finished, type XEEN it goes into the intro..... and then after the intro, the screen goes stripes black and white (vertical). You can see it's drawing something, but It's just being striped all over (can't see a thing, just black and white thingies). I'm using a STB Powergraph VL24 (fine with all other games/never had this problem before). Even in INTRO, pressed esc, the same result. tried to change from qemm386 to emm386, same result. Running it under OS/2 (fullscreen DOS session), still gives the same result. Bareboot (just emm386) still no go. Please help, I want to play (well, it's almost christmas, right ?? *grin*) Thanx beforehand 4 those kind souls out there that can help. Ciao. Muljadi Budiman.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH XEEN UPON INSTALLATION: ============================ the striping effect that renders Xeen inoperable is caused by an incompatibility with the video card in your machine. BUT, there is a way around it. Type F10, then ESC. -- Dave-id Huberman ||||| "Candy is Dandy, Junior, Telecommunications ||||| but Indiana University, Bloomington ||||| Sex won't rot your teeth!"
