I'm getting a Pentium-90 with a quad-speed CD this week.
Can anyone suggest which CD-Rom games are most worthwhile,
and which will best take advantage of my new system?
		Thanks!

Well, your likely to get quite a varied response, since 'how good a game
is' really has alot to do with personal taste. But, if your talking
about games that will take advantage of your system to the full extent
possible and are ALSO reasonably playable games themselves, you cant
miss with Under a Killing Moon by Access software, and Wing Commander III
due out the second week in December. Of course only a 'demo' version of
WC III has been available, but it is obvious that if that is your cup
of tea (Sci-Fi space combat/story line), WC III will be a top of the line
example of game play on the PC. The same can be said for Under a Killing
Moon, a game I am currently playing. Even without all the glitz and
glitter it is a reasonably good investigative adventure set in the next
century. If you like 'mystery' adventures of the 'Sam Spade' genre you will
like this game. Put together with the fully explorable first person
perspective, UAKM, and WC3 are in a dead heat as the current best game with
great hi-tech interfaces. Believe me, these games are NOT just glitz.

What else? Wing Commander 3 with its SVGA graphics of course!

Kenneth, from what I've heard and read, Magic Carpet is supposed to be
an amazing visual treat - with some great game p;ay as well.
