Darksun II - Mind Flayer Arena Help

I'm stuck in the Mind Flayer area in the mines. I've cleaned out everything except for the Arena that's West and South of the "Underdark Nexus". I'm fairly certain that I've got to waste the Arenamaster to get the third part of the key that'll get me in to where the Brain is. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to kill the sucker. He's behind some kind of wall... looks like a Wall of Ice. I've tried hitting it with Disintegrate, Crumble, Fireball, Anti-Magic Shell, etc. without success in bringing it down. How do you knock down that wall and get to the slimeball? Dorian
