I've been trying to run this game on my Mitsumi FX001D and it worked well
for the first few hours but now I'm constantly getting "Read Error"
messages on disk 2. I have no option but to go to DOS from there. Is there
any way to clean these disks? It doesn't look dirty or scratched but I
always get the message when trying to go into Tex's office from the stairs.

Access is sending me a new disk on the assumption the disk is defective
but I'd still like to play in the meantime.

When I bought the game, I was told that they had cases of errors on disk 2;
the guy checked each game and gave me one which is OK. When I played it,
I had the "Read error" thing happening once, by entering Tex' office. So it
seems that it is a rather wide-spread problem. Cleaning won't help. The
only chance you have is trying to reload from there (or a bit earlier) again
and again, but no guarantee.

Well it's good to know it's not just my machine. Guess I can re-assemble
my CD player then...(G)
