Sorry, can't remember. But I remember that I've not had any trouble with the
dam, so it shouldn't be *that* difficult.

No, it is not. You'll find it *much* later in the game.

These guys are dead, but they left a note behind near the switches.

The banner is not in Killorn Keep.  THe banner is s many worlds away, but 
just remember to pick it up when you see it.

There is one or two occasions when someone else goes through the 
blackrock gem but this also happens latter in the game.

The banner is in the Tombs of Precor Loth <sp>, most of UW2 comes together as 
you play it.

With regard to the two guys in Anodunos (are they related to the Two Guys
>From Andromeda? :) no, they are not in Anodunos any longer.  That world has
been dead for a long, long time.  You'll have to figure out how to open the
dam yourself.

With regard to Killorn Keep, the banner is not there.  That's a mini spoiler,
so I'll just encourage you not to worry about it for a while.

As for the gem, well... if you go back to the castle after being in the Ice
world, someone thanks you for discovering it, and says that Dupre will use it
to supply the folks in the castle with water.  So take that into advisement -
you're not the only one who can use the gem.  :)
