Pardon me, but many Roguelike games _are indeed rpgs - full fledged
with stats, fights, talking to humans/monsters, in depth quests
and playabillity. Diablo on the other hand is a action game with some
rpg elements.

Still, I don't say that all roguelike is fully rpg, but all have more
element than Diablo, and the most is still fun to play ;)

and yes - Diablo seems a rougelike - but has much[very] less of
everything
except graphics.. and price... and updates...
