Very true. But it's so fashionable to complain and rant, why not?

Oh, like having some place like Best Buy install the new processor
for $50 a pop, after getting a 'free' Pentium from Intel? I personally
like my PC based games, and don't want to see Intel get hit with such an
expecnse they have to really jack up the price on the next generation of
chips.
"Oh, but Intel is a Big Company, therefore it is Evil and should be
hounded, with or without cause."
Ugh.

Of course. If we're lucky, we can hit Intel with a $10,000,000,000,000,000
lawsuit as well for pain and suffering!
Or even better, because of their flagrant disregard for the computing
industry as a whole, they should just send out a fixed Pentium in the next
Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes entry envelope. That should get one
to just about every household.
