No, I probably should have qualified that a bit, but when I said moved Windows onto the NT kernel I was regarding Windows and Windows NT as two different product lines, as they existed back then (W2K was just the next flavor of NT). Merging of consumer and business OSs into one would be another way to say at it; perhaps the most accurate way to phrase it.
