Seriously, does the following from the Dev's mean anything ?
Shirley 'They' must be joking?
"The game also features a dynamic beard growth system, in which the beard of
the playable character Geralt grows as he travels between regions. According
to the developer, the beard grows "in different states." However, this
feature will no longer be available if the player has downloaded the free
Beard and Hairstyle DLC."

'They' say there will be 2 BIG expansions to Witcher 3
"....the future release of two paid expansion packs for The Witcher 3: Wild
Hunt, summing up to over 30 hours of content.
If you’re wondering how much they’ll cost, the expansion pass has already
been made available on Steam and GOG.com, revealing the price. It’ll be
$24.99 or €24.99for both expansions together.
Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine will also be available separately for
$9.99 and $19.99 respectively,"
