Someone somewhere is enjoying the profits from ongoing discounted
sales though :)

Although it doesn't surprise me they didn't make it. As I played this
game I thought someone spent a lot of time and effort on this
(apparently too much time compared to what gamers are willing to pay
for games these days).

I haven't tried it on modest hardware, but that's one benefit of
cartoonish graphics. Once you don't need complex shadows and so
forth, you can reach users with much more modest requirements. I
think that's one reason World of Warcraft achieved the success it did.
Knowing that MMO graphics by definition are always going to be
crappier than their SP counterparts, they didn't even try to convey
realism, they just defined their own version of a fantasy world.

I noticed that and I'm not a big fan of sidequests. In a typical RPG,
my goal, assuming I like the game, is to get through the main quest
and evaluate it based on the part of the game the team spent the most
time on. Technically if I like it well enough I might do some
alternate quest later, but after I've spent a dozen or so hours in a
game I'm usually looking for a permanent door out.
