Dead Island is a good game, but it lacks variety. Killing the same
zombies over and over gets old. I never bothered with the final chapter
of the game, once I got the "there's no going back" prompt I declared
victory and moved on to another game. I have Dead Island Riptide but
never played it. It got terrible reviews, basically the complaint was
that it was more of the same. So the original game is worth picking up
cheap, but I'd pass on the sequel.

Dead Island 2 is supposed to be in the works, hopefully they'll try to
improve on the original instead just rehashing it.
