Luckily I can use a nieghbor's internet through >my wireless laptop, so I can still email/etc... when its out, but my >pc has no wireless connection, so its stuck w/the house internet >access. 2) I must just be mmo'd out, when the internet kicks in and I You're more than welcome if you have a LOTRO account Leo, the more the merrier, but I was pinging "Ceo"wulf, our resident Aussie mmorpger from the other coast of Aus-land. ;) What timezone are you in again? In any case, it was just a casual knock-about until if & when it becomes something more (like a regular weekly/fortnightly team-game). But I haven't heard from Ceo as yet so likely nothing until tomorrow (Sunday morning GMT+10, or next w/e). >could mmo, I just keep going back to titan quest: immortal throne >(just discovered the lillith/masteries mod, a combo of 2 mods that're >pretty cool, and a fan patch that fixes a couple bugged skills. >Lillith makes the game harder (can select dificulty) while masteries >re-does the classes, both can be had seperately too; can make the game >more challenging from the get-go rather than having to play a million >hours to get into harder difficulties first.) Plus, I'm still workin' I just started TQ:IM with the Mrs recently, but we're struggling to find the time given all our RL commitments at present (building a house among other things such as the ski season here being upon us :). We also have another 3 mths of LOTRO subs on 2 new accounts & have just started a couple CoH chars as well to take advantage of the 14 day free trial, which she seems to like the most *sigh*, because it's mostly just killin & no gear early on makes it easier to get into than most mmos. Mind you, NC offering a crippled trial is really bad form - there is no teaming, no trade & no mission architect for trial players, which sucks major mutant monkey balls if you ask me. I'm almost of a mind to pull the plug & write them an unhappy camper email telling them they've lost 2 potential subs for pulling this kinds shit. If they had any sense they would have capped chars to 20th & allowed ALL features of the game. I haven't even tried IOs (crafting) for fear it's not allowed. Great trial - just run & gun the streets or play solo - they're *completely* missed what 50% of the game makes it so great! *huge Shrek sigh* >on storm of zehir (then I want to play a higher lvl mod to continue on >w/the same characters). Just too many games! Always *sniff* > Anyhow, might have to wait till diablo 3 until we get a chance >to get really get together, I'll probably play the hell out of that >one. > > I'll email ya so ya have my email addy. Just saw it dude - no probs with LOTRO, understand. Re D3 - there will probably be a alt. NG for it no doubt, & many regs will be playing from here & the agd2 group. Might start a thread for a show of hands closer to the time ;). -- Nostromo
