Oh yes, probably the strongest ever since Moria came out & since about 6
mths after launch. Someone said it's population is actually growing, most
likely because of the 2 yr anniv special bundle with Moria. I actually
bought 2 new accounts for the Mrs & me it was such good value (my original
account is shared with a mate who also got another one for his Mrs who has
now pinched my main one so I've transferred most of the goodies off there &
let them have it).

I think Aion is 90% hype & 10% substance right now. It could just be the
next AoC - I really don't see anything that great about it. 2 samey races, 4
*very* generic classes (with 2 sub-classes each makes 8 kinda); same ol
storyline with a generic world (albeit a bit celestial with a premise hard
to swallow); no real world lore or back story framework to fall back on,
etc, etc, etc, bleh. Flying is nice, but nothing revolutionary in & of
itself - there are 'flying' 3D mmos out there ya know...EVE anyone? ;) In
fact I read somewhere you can't even fight while in flight & at lower levels
it's very short-lived, more like jump-jets than real wings, so make of that
what you will. I'd rather see some real flying mounts in GW2 personally :).
I hope it's a lot more than meets the eye, but call me a cynic when it comes
to mmorpgs these days ;).

WoW ain't, not in real terms - the GFC we had to have has finally caught up.
EVE's temporary sub growth is probably an illusion inflated by it's no up
front fee combined with it's recent-ish overhaul - give it another year I
say. F2P mmos like Free Realms & RoM otoh are growing like warts on a troll
though.

Speaking of GFC, just d/led & watched most of the Zeitgeist Addendum doco. A
must see for anyone in the least bit interested in the world money markets,
economics & foreign trade. Real eye-opener.
