aye, I follow the CGW annual awards and Hall of Fame seriously... because 
I don't have an inordinate amount of time to play games all day, I have a 
simple rule when it comes to buying and playing games:

win CGW award or inducted in HoF = buy and play game/series
no CGW award nor induction in HoF = don't waste my time :)

AD&D and Origin are exempted from this rule, of course :-D
