Really now?  Doom I and II are on disk.  There is a CD version of Doom 2,
but that really doesn't get you anything extra.  Monkey Island played great
on my old 386.  TIE Fighter runs well on my 486DX2/66.  I understand your
point, but most games do NOT require you to have a Pentium/90.  Most games
(except for Origin's latest games) run well on my system.
