The P7 will be the first fruits of the Intel/HP alliance.

As for the P6, no one knows what it's supposed to improve upon. However,
there are plenty of ways that they can improve upon the Pentium design,
believe it or not.

The big winner of the PowerPC market thus far is Apple. IBM seems to enjoy
twiddling their thumbs on delaying "the next revolution in computing."

That's probably marketing hype. As far as I know, there is no such board
that is "optimized" to run a DX2. Any board that can support a 33 MHz bus
speed can take either a DX, DX2, or DX4.

Any game released "for the Pentium only" will also run on 486s. But then,
that might be as meaningful as saying that WCIII will also run on 386s.
