ugh.. this was driven home in horrible detail on CNN today.  I was horrified 
to see Garriott running around in tights, talking about this bizarre
$500,000 haunted-house that he's built where people can come and "live out" 
Ultima IV & become the avatar.  Isn't this one of the signs of the 
apocalypse? :)

... someone needs to lock him in a room with a PC, periodically send in food 
and water, let him out six months later and see what he comes up with.
(even if its terrible, i'll forgive him if he throws in a cloth map & 
figurines. ;) )
