First, did everyone's equipment get scrambled transferring
characters?  My old psi bracelet's had descriptions of spells
attached to them.  My characters came out wearing armor on
impossible body locations.  My armor and weapons magic
abilities were often shown as something else until I used them,
and then most of the time they would change to the correct
magic effect...
 
In the area outside of Tyr where the Jann are in the Oasis,
there is a snake cave in the nortwest section.  Everytime I
ring the bell, snakes come out, but I can never go in or get
any eggs for the merchant.  What am I missing???
 
In the area west of the Sorrows (with lots of umber hulks and
other critters) there are lots of books and scrolls, one which
apears to be giving magic words to open a door.  Is any of this
useful?  All I did in that area was kill a lot of monsters,
save one guy and get a +4 sword that is -4 to my A.C.
 
Well...Back to the forest to help the Halflings!
