Whether or not this will happen I don't know... Well, following the piracy debate for years now, this was the major point that companies used: "We sell our games at such expence because people pirate our games so we will have to make up the money somehow". So HOW can one pirate a CD-ROM? And even if they could dump all data on their HD, would you not need the CD to run the game anyway (for protetion... something about the way the game parts are interconnected when on CD). And on the console level, why are cartridges so expensive, when there is almost NIL piracy? Which goes all to say that someone has been fibbing. No I do not think piracy is worth it, no matter what you use to justify it: taking someone's sweat and effort and giving nothing in return is a moral crime. But some people should wake up and stop using this excuse for pricing thier products so much. I just cannot see why CDROM games should cost that much. By the way - I am excluding the "initially expensive" policy: that will always happen to cash in on the demand for those who can't wait. - Falcon
