In a sense, ID Games did the same thing. Origin did not get where they are by designing games that were obsolete a few months after they were released. Every company (in any field) has to define their target market if they want to suceed. You can not blame Origin if they want to design products for the high-end machines: that's the piece of the market they want to corner. Can you blame Disney for producing movies that are mostly appealing to young-at-hearts? Can you blame BMW for selling luxury cars? If you feel that you are not part of the target market, don't whine about it, just do not buy the product... Origin is still there. Altough I agree that some of their latest releases were disappointing (U8, PS), I am certain that their approach to this market is the best one. They just have to make sure that their games are as innovative as they used to be (Underworld I, Wing Commander...). > And I'm already hoping to upgrade by the middle of next year. > (not just to run games tho.. ) > Oooh... I heard that one before... (just teasing...) -- Stephane Evoy Cornell University
