I haven't seen a map of this thing even in a walkthru.  I tried and
just gave up.  The answer is to screw around with it until you get
out.  A pain in the ass, I know.  Eventually you'll touch almost all
of the maze.

Start off in the bottom right corner, then down, all the way left and
up.  Then I forget.  You do realize, of course, that you are often 
creating and breaking links in the maze?  If you have a really bright
light source, like a firedoom staff, you can see the ground a little
better.
