You have in fact only began the goblin quest.  He should of mentioned the 
goblin tunnels which start in the Knight's Forest near Monitor.  Enter these
tunnels, Simon might have the key to enter the cavern although I am not
sure if they are locked.  Follow the tunnel until you reach a clearing
with the goblin camp.  Wait till night and go find the chief, kill him, get
the key of his body.  Then return to the treasure room in the tunnel and
open a locked door to the goblin loot with the chiefs key.  The helm is in
here.

You are getting ahead of yourself abit.  The teeth will come in good time :).
