There is so much misinformation out there on this subject, but the general consensus I've gotten from people I trust who have been following the pentium bug saga: Don't expect any guarentees on a bug free pentium for another 6 months. If any of these letter writting or petition campaigns are successful (IE Intel offering free upgrades with no questions asked), don't expect it for another year! (Just another opinion to confuse everyone :) My personal advice: If you're worried about the bug, buy a DX4/100 :)
