So I put the talisman on the altar, the dude roars, and then I try doing as
the hint in the manual says:  "light the lantern, and throw at center of
tree".  Well, I tried that about 20 times, hitting the tree in several places
near what I assume is the center.  Nothing (other than the lantern going out)
happens.  So I decide to try to check if maybe nothing is supposed to happen.
I go up, and try to leave by the front door.  Eaten by a caterpillar with an
attitude.  What am I missing?  I want to finish this silly game.
