ALONE IN THE DARK -- worth getting?

This game caught my eye this afternoon at the software store. From the
looks of the box (I know, how naive of me) it seems to offer very good
3-D graphics and a nifty haunted-house adventure, complete with
catacombs below.

Is anyone familiar with this game?

Has anybody read any reviews of it?

It retails for about $55, so while I'm at it I'd also like to know if
there's such a thing as a wholesaler for IBM-PC game software.

Thanks!

Rob

Have you got a soundcard, does silent suspense kill you, have you got a 386SX or above????? Well, if you have you`ll love alone in the dark. I just finished it a couple of days ago, and I must say it is very very scarey, bags of atmosphere, in fact, it could almost be you in that spooky old house.

However, it is huge amount better with a soundcard, I`d even recommend saving up first to buy a card and then get the game.

	Overall though, A RECOMMENDED PURCHASE!!!!!!!

	Cheers Geoff.......
