Please, ye gods, let the limited time expire soon so we can get this

If you're annoyed, email him (sha...@inter.com) and -- since no company
wants antagonized consumers -- it presumably won't happen again.

Wrongo... I mailed him a message explaining fairly nicely that this really
annoyed us, and really wasn't what the net was for. No response, no
nothing... so next I think I'll call register a complaint with the
company... I mean it wouldn't be bad if he just said he was here and to
contact him for info, but this ad shit is rediculous.

Dann- Let me reply to you publicly.

I've taken more heat than I care to admit on this post.

100 pieces of mail all telling me that we were wrong is hardly a welcome to
a large company that gets on the internet.

How many times do you have to say you're sorry before you are heard?

Don't let the people who bitch and moan drive you off. It is really
funny because these same people are saying "gee, why don't any companies
ever post on the internet?" then when someone like yourself does
they take this attitude like they know all, can say all, and generally
treat them like shit. I do think that you may have wanted to do a
little more research before you posted, but its to late now.

Just ignore the people who like to flame (I guess they have to make
themselves feel better somehow) and just worry about the people who
can have a civilized conversation.

The internet seems to have lost that friendly feeling that it had
not even two years ago :-(

You have been heard. We (or at least I) accept your apology. Now, if you wish, I
would have no objection if you posted a message telling us that we could order direct
from you, and if we want more details to please reply to your post and you would deal
with us individually.

or

Why don't you consider setting up an anonymous ftp so we can get bug fixes, press
releases, etc and send this info to c.s.i.p.g.announce.

Everyone is entitled to one misteak.
