I downloaded the elfish demo but after I install and run it the graphics
come out all garbled and mostly in the top quarter of the screen. I have
a Video 7 VGA (although a pretty old one). I've tried loading a vesa
driver but that didn't seem to help, and, in fact, the screen goes blank
during the installation if I have the vesa driver loaded before I install.
Has anyone encountered this problem?

Thanks,
-Mike.

I had some trouble with the demo, too...

After you install it (with the VESA driver loaded) try running a file
called "recongif" or some such thing. It seems to reset the demo's drivers
properly (at least it did for me).

I'm not clueless, I just have my own agenda.
