The game plays very slowly, even on my 486-33. Much of the game seems to consist of going on missions, and such exciting missions: go and pick up X and deliver it to Y etc. Lots of bugs too. Probably about as good as Pool of Radiance, but then this is 1993, not 1988. The game was trashed in reviews. Malcolm MacKay

The interface is completely screwed up. Combat is a tediously long affair, with endless clicking here and there for the simplest moves. And, as an added bonus, when you have the upper hand and the enemy offers to surrender, and you accept the offer... guess what? Either the games crashes, or loads your last saved game! Unbelievable bad, right down there with "Plan 9 from Outer Space" (the movie). Compared with it good old Pool of Radiance is tops: wonderful interface, terrific combat rules, exciting story. And I sign: a very, very, very pissed-off gamer.

Hmmm I didn't play it much, a friend brought it and I tried of a couple of days.. I thought the interface was kind of wierd, though I liked the story. -- Mohammad R. It's a great pity too; the original FRPG of "Spelljammer" (it's still in the shops) was far better than the computer conversion. Forget the PC game, buy the original! Chris Owen

I thought the interface was kind of wierd, though I liked the story. Thanks for all those who have replied. I guess I'll steer clear from the game, at least until it hits pocketmoney level (ie. $10 or something like that). Guess for now, I'll go and look at something else. I saw planets edge, I'll ask about that. >-- >Mohammad R.
