UPDATE
------

"MicroMan - Adventure 1: Crazy Computers" is now available via anonymous
ftp from wuarchive.wustl.edu It's in the /pub/MSDOS_UPLOADS/windows
directory. The file to get is micro1.zip. In the original announcement, I
neglected to mention that you will need PKZIP 2.04g to uncompress the archive.

If you have any problems getting the file and/or uncompressing it, please send
me mail (go...@u.washington.edu) and I can probably help you out.

The remainder of this post contains the original announcement...

Announcing the MicroMan Adventure Series! (for Windows 3.1)
------------------------------------------------------------

So many of you responded to the original MicroMan demo that I have
created 2 brand new MicroMan adventures.

For those of you who didn't see the demo, MicroMan uses WAP (Windows
Animation Package) to achieve flicker-free sprite animation under
Windows! By using WAP, The MicroMan Adventure Series brings DOS
style arcade-action and adventure games to the Windows environment!

(note: WAP is a product that I have developed. The micro1 archive
contains information about WAP, including sample source code)

MICROMAN - ADVENTURE 1: CRAZY COMPUTERS

This action-adventure game features over 50 "rooms" to explore, many
puzzles to solve, and lots of enemies to shoot at!. Added graphics
and sound effects make it even better than the original demo!
MicroMan - Adventure 1 is a complete and fully playable shareware version.

MICROMAN - ADVENTURE 2: SAVAGE STONES

This action-adventure game has a new theme and totally new graphics.
Watch-out for falling rocks and don't touch those killer plants!
MicroMan - Adventure 2 is available, free, to registered users of
MicroMan - Adventure 1.

MICROMAN - ADVENTURE 1: CRAZY COMPUTERS can be acquired via anonymous
ftp from:

    ftp.cica.indiana.edu
/pub/pc/win3/uploads/micro1.zip (will soon be moved to /games)

The remainder of this message contains the README.TXT file from
MicroMan - Adventure 1.

the enemies while exploring new areas and collecting special powerups!

requires that you register this program with the author. Registered users
will receive Adventure 2 of the MicroMan Adventure Series plus a special
bonus Windows application: WallMan.

You are free to distribute this program as long as all files are included
and no changes are made. It is requested that shareware distributors
notify the author.
