Hi: I have spent a couple of hours on one puzzle in 7th Guest and was wondering if some kind soul could PLEASE help me avoid the penalty of having the puzzled solved for me: ***SPOILERS FOLLOW*** PROCEED WITH CARE ... The puzzle is the one before the altar. It consists of a pattern of tiles on the floor (using purple, blue, and brown tiles) with a hole in the middle. The objective is, apparently, to get from the bottom left corner (green arrow) to the top right arrow (red arrow). The first clue says that we have to get across the puzzle and be careful in the "holey place" The second clue says that the markings on the tiles indicate numeric values and we should jump to adjacent tiles based on their numeric value. Can someone tell me how to determine the numeric value of the tiles? Help would be GREATLY appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rajiv Vaidyanathan Department of Management Studies e-mail: University of Minnesota, Duluth rvai...@ua.d.umn.edu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you listen to the clues that your ego gives you, you'll hear him say "It's as easy as one, two, three." Notice that there are three sets of colors, I think they were blue, green and yellow. In order to solve this puzzle you need to be thinking in ones, twos, and threes. We never went to the library to get clues, and I really don't see how the clues you got help any. Hope this helps. Gregg
