Can someone help me in the Opera House of Tomb Raider II ?

I've finished most of the level and I've reached the white platform above
the stage. There's a door behind a sandbag to the right but I don't know
how to open it. Someone told me to "look for an opening above" but I don't
find any kind of opening (besides, it's completely dark and not even a
flare can help much here).
