I am stuck on CD 7 of the X-Files game. I have killed the guard at the blast
door who threatens Scully, picked up the key, and pissed off out of that
place, through the isolation chamber in the other room with evil-Mulder
tailing. Once on the far side of the room I spin around and hit the button
to close the door, yet to no avail - the scene cuts to my tombstone with no
explanation as to what went wrong.

I have tried using the artificial intuition setting, which takes much the
same steps as I do (although it does take a slightly different path out of
the blast-door room, one which I cannot take in the actual game as Mulder
unleashes a radiation burst and kills me. Bastard.). The artificial
intuition then proceeds to take the same path through the isolation chamber,
spins around and hits the button (the same as I do), yet is able to trap
Mulder. This is all very well and good but the Black Cancer then proceeds to
leech out of him, through the glass, and into me (Craig?). Craig then enters
the chamber seeking the blast-door key, but Scully pounces on him and
Stillettos him. Game Over.

Can anybody help? What am I missing? How do I finish this game?
