I know it's bad form to follow-up my own post, but I've figured out
the problem, and I think it's worth sharing . . .

I'm using DOS 6.0 with multiple configurations in my config.sys and
autoexec.bat. In the past, I ran into a problem using this feature
with WORLD CIRCUIT. With WORLD CIRCUIT, the joystick wouldn't
calibrate when I booted using the multiple config. I solved it
by putting a "pause" in the autoexec.bat immediately before executing
the game.

I cured the problem I was having with EL-FISH the same way. I don't
know if the root cause is DOS 6.0 itself, or something else in my
configuration, but the "pause" seems to have solved the problem.

If anyone else has experienced problems with multple configs, I'd
be interested in hearing about it.

Scott
