I thank everyone who responded to my Gateway questions, and questions
about video cards. They have been very informative.

I have found a Pentium II 300 mhz system locally and I would like input
as soon as possible. The following are what would be included on the
system if I bought it tomorrow.

Pentium 300 mhz processor, AGP motherboard.
64 megs of SDRAM
Monster 3dfx video card
Diamond Stealth PCI video card with 8mb video ram
6.1 Gig HD
24x CD-Rom
Viewsonic PS 17" monitor
AWE 64-bit sound card
speakers
USR 33.6 Internal Modem

I've calculated this with tax to be approximately $4,077.15.

What I would like to know, is this a good deal? If so why, if not why
not? Should I add a SCSI controller and get a zip drive, or hold that
for later?

There are only two ISA slots, but thankfully one of the sound cards is
PCI...do I want something with more ISA slots??? Hit me with your best
shot, as I do not want to make a mistake on this?

As for the game I will want to play????

GL Quake, if there will be a GL Quake 2 so be it.
NASCAR 2 in full 3d, yes I know there isn't a 3dfx patch yet.
Perhaps UO if isn't too costly.

Thanks
