Does anyone know how to get the linear frame buffer to work on a cirrus
logic VESA local bus card? I want to be able to speed up the frame rate on
the Shinobi emulator and others, but when I install it (univbe 5.3) it says
"note:due to a hardware problem, cirrus 542x boards cannot use linear
framebuffer modes when more than 14mb of system memory is installed.Linear
framebuffer disabled." Is there a way to trick my computer into thinking it
has 14 mb? I have 36 mb installed currently.Any advice on this would be
appreciated.-Satcom2
