I find most games look best in resolutions just slightly higher than 300x200. I don't think 640x480 games look "good" in svga, or any higher rez for that matter.....everything becomes a bit too angular for my tastes. Quite frankly, even though I have a Pro 200, I still run almost all my software in VGA..why? 1) Smoothness. Even with a fast computer, and a fast videocard, some SVGA games just aren't smooth. Skynet in 640x480 runs fine, but not SMOOTHLY. Duke in 800x600 runs at 17fps on my machine!! What? That sucks! I figure another two years, all games are SVGA with optional vga.......and we'll be bogging our machines down with 24bit games by then.....getting into the "photorealistic" games, and we'll all be bitching about them too. SVGA is nice, but we're not quite there yet. Brant
