Please Help,

My PAS16 has worked flawlessly for years in my 486, but now that I installed it in my
new P90 PCI/EISA System, I get a Loud Krackling Noise with certain games when using
16 bit sound, ie Duke3d & C&C Etc.

It works ok in Win95 with 16bit sound just fine. Win95 assinged the card port388
irq7 dma3. DOS assigned the card port388 irq7 dma1. Dont think that matters though,
because while running under Win95 the game still sound bad in 16bit sound.

In Duke3d under DOS, if I choose 8bit instead of 16bit sound the Krackling Noise goes
away, but I used to use the 16bit sound setting with no problems with my 486.
C&C doesn't have any 8/16 bit sound options, so now I cant even play it unless I turn
the sound off. :(

Has anybody else had this problem or resolved it?? I like my PAS16 and I dont want
to have to buy another Sound Card. I'm Stumped, any info or suggestions would be of
great value to me and much appreciated. Thanx.
