Hi, > 1. What was your first experience in computer gaming? > Also, what type(s) of game(s) do you play today? On what > system(s)? My first experience was Leisure Suit Larry (Sierra-Adventure). Then I continued with an Atari ST with Sierra Adventures (Space Quest etc.), then stumbled over Dungeon Master (which was first designed for Atari Computers). Now I am mainly playing role-playing-games and sometimes good adventures or simulations on an Intel-compatible computer. > 2. Have you ever upgraded your system just to play a > computer game (or in preparation for future games)? Well, I bought a soundblaster 16 recently, however, it turned out not to be completely soundblaster compatible <g>. > 3. Nevertheless, I think that these computer extensions have probably developped by far faster than they would have without games. > 4. What do you see in the future for computer games? Any and all additional comments concerning computer > games are greatly appreciated. I sincerely regret the trend of computer games to involve too much action and arcade (even in simulations, RPG's, and adventures). In addition, adventures and also RPG's have become less challenging.
