Not so at all! How about folks wanting to play Virtual Pool or SuperKarts
for example? Those are older games that don't have many CURRENT players.
Should someone wanting to play VP hang out all day wasting their time looking
for players when they could post about it in a newsgroup and setup a time with
others into those games?
In alt.games.kali, we can also discuss the performance of certain settings in
Duke Nukem 3D for example.

- Does having DUKE3D in your .CFG seem to makes much difference?
- Is there any way to get the mouse aiming working over kali?
- Who are the best players?
- What are the best pings for running the game with "SETUP /F2"?
- What's the breakpoint (slowest pings) that'd make you wanna use "SETUP /F4"?
- Does CPU of a Quake server matter much?
- Does how many players in a Quake game matter much?
- If Quake game is set for 8 people, does the server serve 8 different things
even if there are only 3 players in the game?
- How much does the ping matter to Quake?
- Does the person with the slowest ping slow the game down for the rest of
the players (bringing the performance down to the weakest player)?
- Does Virtual Pool even work good over Kali?
- Any special settings for it?
- Any way around glitches it may have? (seems like when I DID find someone
to play it, if I moved the mouse when HE was shooting, that it mixed us
up somehow and became unplayable. Would it be fine if I just refrained
from using the mouse after I'm done?

That's just a beginning of ALOT of questions I have. Should people be asking
these things of each other on a 1 on 1 basis, asking the same things over and
over again, and having folks who are in the know either feel they are being
inconsiderate to not take time out to explain these things to newbies, or
should every person feel obligated to spend LOTS of time answering all this
questions that could be publicly posted!?

There ought to be a FAQ for all the questions that have been answered
successfully that is posted every now and then
for newbies who've missed the important questions and answers. The CURRENT
Kali FAQ is only distributed when you first DL Kali, and he has no way of
seeing my questions.

It'd be a HUGE help to Kali users.
